Tasty foods wheeled in Friday at the Florence Center for the inaugural Carolina Food Truck rodeo.

“The idea is food trucks are just bringing up all over the country. A lot of big cities are having food truck festivals and we decided to have one here at the Florence Center and of course it’s a huge hit this year,” said festival coordinator, Hubert Bullard.

More than 20 food truck vendors from around the country brought their unique food to Florence, ranging from barbecue, asian, italian and much more.

“I tell you, there’es so much good food here. Everybody needs to come out and check this out. Hopefully they can have this year after year. I had some food before and I couldn’t play because I was so full on stage,” said artist from Charleston, Beam Country.

The fun also included a beer garden, live music, free parking and admissions for all ages.

“You know people like to eat and when they come to a food truck rodeo like this one, they eat very well,” said Bullard.

With thousands of people enjoying the food truck rodeo this weekend, organizers tell News13 they’re already planning for next year.

“Probably extending it till Sunday. We are just so thrilled that this has been a really good event, people having a good time and that’s what it’s all about,” said Bullard.
