DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Eleven students were taken to the hospital by their parents after a car hit a school bus in Darlington County.
It happened on Tuesday afternoon and the bus was carrying 20 middle and high school students from the Darlington County Intervention School. According to Audrey Childers, EMS and law enforcement were called per district protocol. Darlington County School District personnel also responded to the scene.
We are told those 11 students were taken to the hospital by their parents as a precaution. Neither the car driver nor the bus driver was injured.
