Stands at Hartsville High School’s football stadium were cleared after a fight outside the stadium during Hartsville’s Homecoming game against Wilson Friday night.
According to Lt. Robert Kilgo, with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, the fight was outside Kellytown Stadium and people reported they heard and saw a gun.
None of the deputies on scene heard gunshots, Kilgo says. The suspects got into a car and fled from deputies. Deputies pursued the suspects, but the pursuit was canceled.
Deputies cleared the stands and the game resumed without fans.

As for the game, Hartsville beat Wilson in a close one, 14-13.
