FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Due to evacuations ordered by Florence County Friday morning, Florence County School District Three buses will not be able to travel certain roads after school Friday. Parents who live in these areas will need to make arrangements to pick up their children after school.
FCSD3 buses will not be able to travel in the following areas after school today:
From Highway 301 Bridge downstream to the Highway 52 Bridge to include:
- Kelley Road from N Bethel Road to Old Creek Road
- W Old # 4 Hwy from Salem Road to Hwy 52
- McAllister Mill Road from W Old # 4 Hwy to Wylie Road

At its regular monthly meeting Thursday night, the Florence County School District Three board of trustees approved four weather make-up days for the school days lost to Hurricane Florence. The board approved January 3, March 15, April 19 (designated as the required three weather days built into the 2018-2019 school calendar) and February 22 (originally planned as a professional day for teachers) as make-up days.
