Authorities are investigating after skeletal remains were found in a garage in Darlington County Sunday morning.
According to Lt. Robert Kilgo with the Darlington Sheriff’s Office, a neighbor found the skeletal remains in a garage behind a home in the 1700 block of North Governor Williams Highway near Law Plantation Road at around 8:15 a.m.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee is on scene and SLED’s forensic unit is on their way to assist with the investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow.
Kilgo tells us that at this time there appears to be no foul play involved.
