The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office investigates after a man’s body was found in a pond Tuesday evening.
Sheriff Ken Sealey told News13 the body was discovered around 6 p.m. on Barker Ten Mile Road, just outside of Lumberton.
Sealey described the man as being in his mid 20s, but provided no other details. It is unclear if the man’s death is suspicious. The sheriff said investigators will know more once an autopsy is performed.
