DILLON, SC (WBTW) – A few Pee Dee area and North Carolina school districts will be closed Wednesday in preparation for possible winter weather.
- Darlington County School will dismiss early Wednesday, Jan. 17. All students will have been served lunch before being dismissed.
- Elementary schools will dismiss Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
- Middle and high schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m., including Adult Education.
- Exceptional education students will dismiss 30 minutes before their regular time.
- All afterschool and evening activities have been canceled for Wednesday.
- Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School in Darlington will dismiss at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday.
- Robeson Community College will end classes Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. The campus will close at 1:00 p.m. for faculty and staff.
- Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology-Florence cancells Wednesday night classes.
- Marlboro County School District will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 17.
- Dillon School Districts Three and Four will be closed Wednesday due to the threat of inclement weather.
- Robeson County School District will be closed for students Wednesday due to the threat of inclement weather. However, it will be an optional workday for staff.
- Scotland Christian Academy in Laurinburg will be closed Wednesday due to the threat of inclement weather.
- Scotland County Schools will be closed Wednesday.
