A South Carolina Highway Patrol trooper was involved in crash in Florence County on Monday.
According to Major Michael Nunn, with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are investigating a crash involving a SCHP vehicle. The crash happened around 1 p.m. on Hoffmeyer Road in the area near the Florence Mall.
Two people were transported to a hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, Nunn said.
Nunn could not say if the trooper was among those injured or if charges will be filed.
