Approximately 4,000 customers were experiencing a power outage in the Dillon area Tuesday evening.
According to Duke Energy, the outages were first reported around 5:!5 p.m. Tuesday, near Dillon Middle School.
The estimated time of power restoration was 8 p.m. – 9 p.m. but power was restored around 6 p.m.
The outage was caused by ‘damage to our transmission lines’, according to Duke Energy.
