Police search for missing Timmonsville man

TIMMONSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Timmonsville police say a man was reported missing Wednesday afternoon and officials are asking for the community’s help in locating him.

Lester Harold, 62, went for a walk on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from his home, located at 201 North Brockington Street, traveling down Highway 76 towards Florence. He has not been seen since, according to a Timmonsville police report.

The woman who reported Harold missing said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes, and a red collared shirt with yellow, green, and black stripes. She also said he had a low style haircut and a mustache, according to Timmonsville police.

Harold is schizophrenic and bipolar. He is off his medicine and sometimes calls himself “John” or “redneck,” according to police.
