MCCOLL, SC (WBTW) – SLED and McColl police are investigating after a 3-month-old child was found dead in an apartment off of Arcadia Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Marlboro County Coroner Tim Brown identified the victim as 3-month-old Easton Roller and says the body will be sent to MUSC for an autopsy.
Officials are still working to learn how the child died.
Lt. Robbie Tryon with McColl police says officers and EMS were dispatched to the home Wednesday after someone in the home called 911.
Investigators are expected to release more information when the autopsy comes back later in the week.
The SLED child fatality division is investigating, along with the McColl Police Department and the Marlboro County Coroner’s Office.
