MARION, SC (WBTW) – South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Marion County that happened Monday night.
Cpl. Sonny Collins reports the crash happened around 10:20 p.m. on Highway 576. The driver of a 2012 Acura was traveling south and hit a pedestrian who was pushing a bike in the same lane of traffic.
The pedestrian died as a result of the crash but the person’s name has not been released.
No charges will be filed against the driver, says Cpl. Collins.
