ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WBTW) – One person is dead and another is injured after a late night shooting in Robeson County on Sunday, according to Robeson County Sheriff Ken Sealey.
It happened on Highway 211, about 4 miles east of Lumberton.
Sealey said a male and female victim were shot, but did not specify which had been killed. The wounded victim has been transported to a nearby hospital.
The victim’s names have not been released.
Sealey said they have a person of interest in connection to the case.
The suspect has not been identified.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident.
