One person is dead after a car ran off the road in Florence County early Saturday morning.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol the crash happened at around 1:15 a.m. on Old River Road. The driver was traveling south on Old River Road when they ran off the road going into a ditch and flipping the car several times.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken identified the victim was 25-year-old Joseph Anthony “Shane” Rogers of Florence. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, according to troopers.
South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Florence County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
