One person died after a crash in Williamsburg County on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on Tupperware Road near Hemingway Highway, according to Lance Cpl. Matt Southern, with the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The driver of a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer died. The driver was traveling north, ran off the left side of the road, and hit a tree. 

This vehicle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, Southern said. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
