FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – West Florence Fire Rescue responded to a call about a fire at the Palmetto Inn Thursday afternoon.
According to the department’s Facebook page, crews arrived to the inn on Meadors Road around 11:30 a.m.
Luckily, firefighters were able to quickly contain it to one room and extinguish the fire while another team got everyone out of the building.
“A quick response and containment of the fire saved extensive property damage and no one was injured,” the post states.
No one was in the room at the time of the fire, according to West Florence Fire Rescue.
