Dillon’s newly elected mayor, Corey Jackson, is currently part of an investigation by SLED, according to Thom Berry with SLED.
Berry would not elaborate on the investigation saying “it would be inappropriate because the investigation is still ongoing.”
Jackson won last weeks runoff for Dillon mayor, taking over for current Mayor Todd Davis who has held the post for over 15 years.
