Missing person case turns into possible drowning in Aynor

AYNOR, SC (WBTW) – A medical helicopter was requested after a possible drowning situation in Aynor.

It happened in the area around Butler Road and Frye Road, according to Tony Casey, the public information officer for Horry County Fire Rescue.

Casey says the call came in around 12:10 as a missing person case ,but turned into a possible drowning case.

One person was taken to Conway Regional, but Casey isn’t sure if the patient was taken by the helicopter.

We are working to determine the condition of the victim now.
