MULLINS, SC (WBTW) – One man is dead after driving into a utility pole off of Highway 41 South in Marion County on Sunday afternoon.
Cpl. Sonny Collins with the S.C. Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 3:45 about six miles south of Mullins. Collins said it was a 2008 Ford pick-up truck that hit the utility pole.
According to Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson, 44-year-old Christopher Wymbs was transported to the Carolina Hospital System in Marion where he died.
