LAKE CITY, SC (WBTW) – Authorities have arrested a man in connection to a shooting at a Lake City Dollar Tree Friday.
According to Chief Kipp Coker with the Lake City Police Department, police arrested and charged Carnelius Joseph Floyd, 27, of Kingstree with two counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and simple possession of marijuana.
Kipp says the shooting happened in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree on Kelley street in the city limits of Lake City on Jan, 19. Police say no one was injured in the shooting.
Florence County Sheriffs Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol assisted in the arrest.
