LISTEN: Florence County Investigator Farrah Turner’s last call

The Florence County Sheriff’s Office honored fallen investigator Farrah Turner with a last call on Sunday.

Inv. Turner’s last call was posted to the FCSO’s Facebook page and says, in part, “166 Investigator Farrah Godwin Turner went 10-42 for the final time on October 22, 2018 after being fatally wounded on October 3, 2018 while serving a search warrant.”

“Farrah your beautiful smile and gracious personality will be remembered forever. Investigator Turner we honor you for your ultimate sacrifice,” the last call also says. “Your service to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Florence County will forever be remembered.”

A funeral for Turner was held on Sunday at the Florence Center and she was buried at Florence Memorial Gardens in the Veterans’ Garden of Freedom.
