The South Carolina Department of Transportation says bridge work on I-95 northbound will be complete by Saturday, six days ahead of schedule.
According to an SCDOT press release, the bridge rehabilitation project on northbound I-95 was over the Great Pee Dee River in Florence and Dillon counties. The project is expected to be completed and all lanes re-open for traffic on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
One lane has been closed since Jan. 9 while crews work to rehabilitate the bridge deck.
“SCDOT wishes to thank motorists for their patience during this rehabilitation project” Spokesperson Robert Kudelka added in the press release.
