A head-on collision in Darlington County Saturday night kills two people and leaves two others hurt.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. on Society Hill Rd. near Flat Creek Rd.
The driver of a 1999 Honda Accord traveling south was trying to pass another vehicle when they ran head-on into a 2010 Nissan traveling north.
The driver and a passenger in the Honda died in the crash. Two people in the Nissan were taken to the hospital.
Ronnie Kinley, 65, and Charlie Bynum, 67, both were pronounced dead at the scene by Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee.
