The Hartsville Chamber of Commerce hosted a veteran employment and entrepreneurship lunch on Friday.
The lunch featured two presentations from South Carolina Works and the South Carolina Small Business Administration, who offer programs to help veterans find employment and possible business opportunities.
Quinetta Buterbaugh, the Hartsville Chamber President, says “I want the veterans to know that there’s a community of folks that are willing to help them, there are agencies that are willing to help them, and that there are lots of opportunities for them as far as the workforce is concerned and starting a business.”
