Greenwood Elementary students jumped rope in an annual fundraiser for the American Heart Association.
The Jump Rope for Heart event raised $10,041 this year. The event was organized by Greenwood’s physical education teachers, Mark Wade and John Delffs, along with retired Greenwood teacher Brad Hitchings.
As part of the event students not only learned jump rope skills, but also how the heart works.
