Monday was “Team South Carolina Day” in Marion County.

The days are used to give local citizens and businesses impacted by Hurricane Florence a one-stop opportunity to learn about relief resources available to them.

Governor Henry McMaster was in attendance at the event.

“To return the people to as close as possible to happy healthy lives, and it’s delightful to see the enthusiasm and the spirit that’s here, which just proves over and over again what a great place South Carolina is and what great people we have,” said Gov. McMaster.

Resources and other agencies there included FEMA, state emergency management, and the state housing authority.
