Frontier landline phone service down in parts of Florence County

FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) – Frontier landline phone service is down in three areas of Florence County as of Tuesday afternoon.

Phone service is not working in the Johnsonville, Pamplico and Lake City areas, according to Florence County Emergency Management officials.

Anyone needing emergency assistance will need to call 911 from a cell phone.

Frontier is working on the problem, according to officials, and any questions should be directed to the representatives with Frontier.

Florence County Emergency Management officials will provide updates when the landline access is restored.
