LAKE CITY, SC (WBTW) – Florence County Sheriff’s Office and the Florence County Coroner’s Office are investigating an apparent homicide.
According to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shooting call at 179 North Country Club Road in Lake City at 10:15 p.m. Friday night. Upon arrival, deputies found two gunshot victims, one was dead at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Florence County coroner has identified the deceased as Larry Gaston, 60, of Lake City.
The incident remains under investigation.
