TIMMONSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – The Florence County coroner’s office released the name of the person whose body was discovered on Darlington Street last week.
The Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken says the body was discovered in the 1300 block of Darlington Street in Timmonsville Tuesday afternoon. The coroner says an autopsy was performed at the Medical University of South Carolina In Charleston.
Lutcken says the victim was identified as Delonte Rouse, 29, of Timmonsville.
While the manner and cause of death are pending, autopsy results reveal the Rouse incurred injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
The incident is under investigation by the Timmonsville Police Department and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. No further details are available at this time, the coroner states.
