FLORENCE, SC – The Florence County Sheriff’s Office will be taking part in the DEA National Take Back Initiative again this year.
You can drop off expired or unused medication/prescriptions for proper disposal in the lobby of the Florence County Law Enforcement Complex located at 6719 Friendfield Road in Effingham weekdays 9:00 – 5:00pm .
In addition, during the 2018 DEA National Take Back Initiative on Saturday, April 28, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, FCSO will be offering collection services for any expired or unwanted prescription medications. If you have these medications and cannot deliver them to the drop box in Effingham, please call Lt. Kathleen Streett at (843) 665-2121 ext. 319 or Sgt. Andrew Clendenin at (843) 665-2121 ext. 343 to arrange for pickup or if you have any questions
