One person is dead after a head on collision on Highway 76 in Florence County early Sunday morning.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutckten identified the person killed as Rachel Bruce Faile, 31 of Lancaster.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Faile was traveling traveling west in the east-bound lane of Highway 76 near Old Marion Highway at 2:47 a.m. when she struck a tractor trailer head on. Her car then struck another can that was also traveling east. Both the drivers of the tractor trailer and other car were unharmed.
This case is still under investigation by South Carolina Highway Patrol.
