The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in Florence County.
According to Keith von Lutcken, the Florence County Coroner, the crash occurred just after 8:30 Friday morning on I-95 South at the 154 mile marker. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.
von Lutcken identified the victim as 48-year-old Thomas Merritt of Roanoke, VA.
