With severe weather on the way Darlington County School District announced it will be sending students home early.
In a post on Facebook, the district says the Southside Early Childhood Center will begin dismissing bus riders at noon. Elementary schools will dismiss at 12:20 p.m. Middle schools will dismiss bus riders at 1:15 p.m. and high schools will dismiss bus riders at 1:45 p.m.
All students will be served lunch before they are dismissed and the schools will remain open until all students are accounted for.
