HARTSVILLE AREA, SC (WBTW) – Darlington County fire crews responded to a fully-involved house fire near Hartsville on Friday evening, according to Chief Ricky Flowers, with the Darlington County Fire Department.

The fire was on High Point Rd. and the call was received around 9:30 p.m., Chief Flowers said. Crews from five stations responded, and the Hartsville Fire Department responded through mutual aid. 

The first arriving crews reported “heavy fire showing from the home with other buildings and property in immediate danger of being damaged,” Chief Flowers also said. Crews were able to control the fire and keeping surrounding buildings from being damaged.

The fire is under investigation. 

There were no reported injuries.
