Bed bugs were found at an EMS station in Marion County.
Marion County Administrator Tim Harper confirms the county received reports of bed bugs at the Gresham EMS station on Monday.
The bed bugs are believed to have been brought into the station on a patient call, Harper says.
Marion County EMS Director Joey Price says the EMS crews at this station were moved out of the station before exterminators arrived on Monday.
Price also says the station’s ambulances were sprayed as a precautionary measure, although none had reports of bed bugs. Two other bases were also exterminated as a precaution.
Crews were moved back into the station on Friday.
