DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Fire crews responded to a reported fire at ITW Angleboard Monday night.
Darlington County Fire District officials got the call around 8:30 p.m. on Harry Byrd Highway, west of Darlington.
According to Chief Ricky Flowers, when units got there reported heavy smoke was showing from the rear of the building.
Officials say the fire appears to have started in one of the machines used in the plant. It was out in about an hour.
Darlington County EMS and Darlington County Sheriff’s Office responded to help with the fire.
Darlington Fire Department also provided aid.
There were no reported injuries.
