FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Two bodies were discovered at a Florence County home Thursday night, according to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
Major Mike Nunn with the sheriff’s office says two bodies were found at a home on Laurel Lane Thursday evening. Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken says the bodies of a man and woman were inside the home on Laurel Lane off TV Road.
The victims were identified as 64-year-old Larry Gertie of Florence and 38-year-old Heather Connor of Florence by Von Lutcken. Officials have not yet revealed how the two people died.
“At this time, we are not in a position to comment further on the investigation which is still ongoing by this office and the Florence County Sheriff’s Office,” the coroner’s office stated in the release.
