Coroner responding to drowning at Locust Tree Landing in Marion Co.

BRITTONS NECK AREA, SC (WBTW) – Deputies and the county coroner are responding to a drowning in Marion County.

Marion County Sheriff Brian Wallace confirmed to News13 that the department is responding to Locust Tree Landing off Highway 908 in Marion County.

The SC Department of Natural Resources is on the scene.

Marion County Coroner Jerry Richardson confirmed to News13 that there has been a drowning and he is on his way to the scene.
