DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – The Darlington County Coroner has released the identity of a man killed in a crash, Sunday evening.
Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee has identified the person killed Sunday night as Thomas Brown, 45, of Darlington. Brown died when the bicycle he was riding collided with a car on Hoffmeyer Rd.
Corporal Sonny Collins said the car was traveling north on Hoffmeyer Rd. when it hit Brown as he attempted to cross the road around 9 p.m., Collins said.
No charged are expected, according to Collins.
He did not provide a more specific location on Hoffmeyer Rd.
