The City of Conway will host two workshops this summer regarding the old Whittemore School site.
A press release says the first workshop will be on June 14 at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria of Whittemore Park Middle School. The second meeting will be on June 25 at 6 p.m. at the Conway Recreation Center.
City Grants Coordinator John Rogers says in the press release these meetings will give members of the community an opportunity to voice their opinions on what should be done with the site. “Even if you have a small idea, or you think your idea has already been heard, we still want you to take part. The simplest idea could be the spark that sets everything in motion.”
City Administrator Adam Emrick says in the press release he’s excited about this project and the impact it will have on the city. “We want your thoughts and ideas to be what drives this project and makes it something great for the City of Conway.”
