As South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are working hard to help with motorists and pedestrians attending the race today, one church group took it upon themselves to give the officers their support.
Men and women from Freedom Baptist Church set up shop and provided a home cooked meal to the officers working the race today.
This is something the church has done for years and according to Trooper Sonny Collins is something the troopers look forward to every year.
