A young girl is dead after a crash in Darlington County, according to Coroner Todd Hardee.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday, on Greenfield Road near Brooks Drive.
Hardee says the child died when the vehicle driven by her father collided with a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is being investigated by South Carolina Highway Patrol, the Sheriff, and the Coroner.
