A Saturday.afternoon blaze has been contained in Dillon County.
According to South Carolina Forestry Public Information Coordinator Justin Holt, the fire was just off of SC Highway 38 near Berrys Crossroads in Dillon County.
Holt said the fire was contained at 40 acres and that no homes were in danger. No injuries have been reported from this fire.
Firefighters are still at the scene working to put the fire out. The cause is under investigation.
