DARLINGTON, SC (WBTW) – Parts of Darlington County were under a boil water advisory as of Friday afternoon, the advisory was lifted Saturday afternoon.
An advisory from Darlington County Water & Sewer Authority says residents who live in the areas of:
Hoffmeyer Road
S Center Road
Timmonsville Hwy
Lakeswamp Road
Sally Hill Road
Lamar Hwy
Oates Hwy
Highhill Road
Syracuse Community Road and surrounding areas
The advisory stemmed from a leak in the water system, according to the advisory, that may cause contamination.
