TIMMONSVILLE, SC – The Florence County Coroner’s Office says a body was discovered in the 1300 block of Darlington Street in Timmonsville Tuesday afternoon. Coroner Keith Von Lutcken says an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning at the Medical University of South Carolina In Charleston.
Lutcken says an identification may be confirmed at that time. The person’s gender or possible cause of death has not been released.
The coroner says it’s possible the body is that of a missing person in Timmonsville. The Timmonsville Police Department is handling the missing person case. News13 is reaching out to the police department for information about the case. Count on News13 for updates.
