BB-gun found in student’s backpack at Florence intermediate school

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – A BB-gun was found in a student’s backpack at a Florence intermediate school earlier this week.

“We have confirmation that a hand bb-gun was found in a student’s book bag at John W. Moore on Monday,” Pam Little McDaniel, with the Florence One Schools, told News13.

Lt. Mike Brandt, with the Florence Police Department, told News13 that law enforcement was not called in to handle the situation.
