Some Easter fun was had Saturday in Florence with the Egg-ceptional Edds-pedition event hosted by Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

The family event featured crafts, egg games, and an easter story for the community in Ebenezer Park in Florence. Organizers say the event was a hit despite some wind and chilly temperatures.

“They know that Trinity comes over and we regularly participate in things over here at the park just to bless our community and I didn’t want any of the children that come to be disappointed so we came to give out the candy treats and to just share the Love of Christ with all the kids that show up. ” Said Ellen Guffey, the Director of Children’s Ministry at Trinity Presbyterian Church.

The wind did ruin a bit of the fun, as inflatables like bounce houses couldn’t be set up.

About 100 children and parents attended the event.
