FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – The 37th Annual Greek Festival started Thursday in Florence.

The festival takes place at the Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church on South Cashua Drive in Florence.

“This year we have the carnival which is the first time we’ve ever done anything like that and a petting zoo for the children so it’s more activities for the children to bring your family come out and enjoy yourselves,” said Sabrina Chavis, Inside Food Sales Manager.

Those wanting to attend have until 9 p.m. Thursday to stop by and enjoy the festivities.

The hours on Friday and Saturday are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

On Sunday, the festival starts at noon.
