Two unclaimed veterans were laid to rest on Tuesday in Florence.
The ceremony was at 2 p.m at the Florence National Cemetery.
“From day one as my military career started until today, which has been many years, it’s very important and rewarding for us to do this and it’s a patriotic duty,” said James Leslie, Retired Master Sergeant, United States Air Force.
The Veterans Honor Guard participated to ensure these soldiers received the honor and respect they deserve.
The Missing in America Project organized this event.
