Two middle schools from our area are heading to the State Academic Challange Championship later this month.
The regional finals were held Saturday at Francis Marion University. The event was hosted by the Pee Dee Education Center and emceed by our own Bob Juback.
In Division One Willaims Middle School beat McNair Junior High School. For Division Two Latta took the victory over Spaulding Middle School from Lamar.
Now Williams and Latta will represent our area in the state championships in Rock Hill on March 29.
